Cleaning Up, Again...
Once again, resetting on a carnivore approach to dieting with the same results.
As I wrote over a year ago, eating only meat is a great way to drop excess weight and feel amazing, in relatively short order. Took me about 3 weeks back in August 2021. Same for October 2022.
One thing I’ve been paying closer attention to this time is seed oils and really trying to avoid them. I don’t make a fuss about it at a restaurant or anything but just avoid sauces or things that have soybean oil or the like.
Another big difference from last year, is I’ve cut my alcohol consumption to zero.
After watching, Andrew Huberman’s What Alcohol Does to Your Body, Brain & Health, I decided to just drop it cold. Not saying I’ll never have a drink again. I do love bourbon. But for the foreseeable future, I’m choosing to teetotal.
So far, I’m feeling really good. First time in a good long while that I’ve skipped over Halloween treats or opted for a non-alcoholic beer in a social setting when everyone I was with was imbibing.
